I’m very chuffed my agency FOLKE is now working with one of our all time favourite brands Incu! I recently I styled and photographed some items for a mini magazine FOLKE are designing that should be ready very soon…I’ll be sure to post more then. A newish bar, 10 William St, that we frequent just up the road from the FOLKE office. Marley in particular loves having a fresh squeezed blood orange juice, I have mine with Campari, and we share a plate of fresh sliced melon and proscuitto with grissini and large chunks of reggiano…

Moving Virtual Homes

So as I’ve briefly mentioned before, I’ve been rather busy implementing the launch of my new company FOLKE. I am absorbing my existing business and clients into FOLKE, and, with a small army of creatives, including co captain Arran Russel (from Vanishing Elephant and Babicka Vodka), we’re attacking a whole range of new projects.

We’re now officially up and running, and I will posting on the FOLKE blog here daily. Please do sign up for the newsletter! Those of you who remember Distillate will enjoy the format, and we’re only sending out 2-3 times a month.

Additionally, we will be working on a range of not for profit FOLKE projects, documenting and supporting creative and interesting people. Stay tuned for more FOLKE projects.

So what is to become of this blog? Well the plan is to turn it more into a personal photo journal….so please check in from time to time, but the main blogging will be happening at FOLKE.

Designer Kelly Searl will be there to talk through her new collection, and we at FOLKE have seen it, and it’s brilliant. We’ve ordered our pieces for the office already, and would recommend getting in quick with yours. Limited ranges due to the hand screen printing and sewing make these covetable items hard to come by….

Moving

Today I move my small office and my home into beautiful large terrace on William St in Paddington to house the about to be launched FOLKE. It’s all rather exciting…I spent the entire weekend like a fly in a matchbox buzzing about anxiously waiting for the new joinery to go in and the timber floors to have their final coat applied, so I could begin cleaning…I’ll post pictures soon once we’re settled in…

I just styled and photographed the latest Fabrik campaign for next Spring Summer. Working with the designer Sarah is one of my favourite things, she just gets it. Additionally, Sarah’s daughter Jemima, the littlest one in this shoot is cute as a button and all the kids were really fun to work with. It won’t be in store for another 9 months or so though…
